We recently had to PCS to Italy, and one of my biggest worries was figuring out how to safely transport our two large dogs overseas. Rehoming was never an option—they’re part of our family—so when we realized that due to their size we couldn’t book everything ourselves, we were stressed and unsure what to do.
On very short notice, we got in contact with Global Pet Transportation, and they were absolutely amazing. They immediately worked with us to arrange a flight as soon as we provided the necessary documentation. While we prepared for our move and settled into Italy, they cared for our dogs, kept us updated with regular video check-ins, and made sure they were well-fed and comfortable.
When our pups finally arrived a few days after we did, it was such a relief to see how well they had been looked after. They were happy, healthy, and clearly had bonded with the team who cared for them along the way. I can tell they miss the people who showed them so much love and attention.
I am so grateful to Global Pet Transportation for making this part of our move stress-free and for treating our dogs like their own. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to transport their pets, especially during such an important and emotional transition.
J and his team were amazing moving our two large breed dogs from the US to italy. The price was MORE than reasonable and the cheapest I was able to find. They helped with making sure we got the health certificates done at a certain time so they would be good when they flew. They sent daily videos and pictures of our babies. J and the team also administered medication to our 13 year old dog. Communication was clear, easy, and really put my mama heart at ease. Both boys showed up happy and healthy! Would recommend them to anyone moving their pets and we will to use them in the future for any moves.
While there were a couple of hiccups along the way, Global Pet Transportation got by 2 large breed babies from Italy to my parents in the US successfully for a reasonable price. They provided daily videos and even went as far as to buy new dog food and pill pockets and offered to pick up new meds when Paris customs refused to let the provided dog food and meds on their connecting flight.
From the bottom of my heart, I can’t thank Global Pet Transportation enough for making our overseas move with our overly sensitive doodle as smooth, safe, and stress-free as we could’ve ever hoped. They exceeded every expectation and more! 🩵

When I first found out we’d be moving from Germany to the U.S, I was honestly overwhelmed just thinking about how we’d get Leo here. But Mr. J and his amazing team took care of EVERYTHING . From picking him up right at our door with a huge crate, to sending me constant updates, photos, and videos, they gave me peace of mind the entire way.
At one point, Leo needed an extra health certificate, and of course, I panicked. But Mr. J immediately reassured me and handled it without me having to lift a finger. Once Leo’s plane landed, I received his live location and details on the next steps.
Finally, our big fur baby made it to us safe and sound ❤️ Due to base restrictions we met the team at the gate, but otherwise, he would’ve been delivered straight to our front door.
We are so thankful to Global Pet Transportation and the entire team involved. If I ever have to move with a pet again, I wouldn’t trust anyone else!
We just had our Daisy delivered to us in Germany and we couldn’t be more impressed by these folks! We ordered the door-to-door service unsure of exactly what that would mean. They came to our house in Florida, met our sweet girl, and she was quite eager to be on her way. She’s a great judge of character and was instantly comfortable with them. They then transported her to Europe and gave us some freedom to settle in and find our way around before delivering her to us a few days later. We were sent daily videos and updates on her well being and she seemed fine the whole time. Of course, she was ecstatic to see us but seemed concerned that her new friend had to leave when she was dropped off! All in all we would highly recommend these guys for their excellent service and knowledge of the intricacies of international pet shipping. The only task we had to take care of to prep for this move was to get her USDA certificate. After that, they handled EVERYTHING and we couldn’t be happier!
Absolutely the best possible scenario we could’ve hoped for with Global Pet. The most affordable pricing of the 5+ companies I reached out to and amazing service. We moved to Aviano Italy from Colorado and our two large dogs were very well taken care of. We got photos and videos everyday and it only took 3 days to get our pups! The only way I would consider moving our pups overseas id with global pet.
Highly recommend this company! PCSing overseas with your pets is not easy but J made sure our 2 dogs made it safely and communicated updates with photos/videos throughout their journey from Vegas to Italy
PCSing is already stressful and the rotator or commercial flights not having space for our dog was making it worse, but Mr. J and team was super helpful in the process, from explaining everything, pick up, updates and arrival. Definitely recommend them!!!
